The second Inner Sunset Sundays event, “Fancypants”, included special features such as arts and crafts and costumes (see below for more details). It was great to see that community vibe back again as people wandered around checking out activities or just sat and enjoyed the scene.

Wear Your Costume: Bring your finest costume as a warm up for Halloween.
Penny Carnival with Rec & Park: Old fashioned fun – bring your small children to the Imagination Playground with bubbles, bean bag toss, basketball for tykes, parachute, playdough and sand table, milk bottle toss, and silly hat table.
Puppet-making Station: Create a puppet and become a player in short community-run puppet shows happening throughout the day.
Environmental Art Table: Make cool sculptures and art from bits and bobs found in nature. And paint your own rock pet!
Costume-making Booth: Make your own mask, hat, or other costume element.
Make Your Own Flag: Make a flag to hang proudly along the street with the other flags. Community creativity unfolds!
Board games: Borrow a board game from the Information Booth.
Physical activities with Acrosports: Jump around and have some fun.
Hula hoops with Cherry Hoops
Astronomy with the California Academy of Sciences
